US economic data has once again drawn the crypto market’s attention after the ISM Manufacturing PMI reached 55.6, its highest level in four years.

This condition has fueled speculation that the pattern seen before the 2017 and 2021 altseasons is beginning to form again.

Crypto analyst Ash Crypto said via X that strengthening US manufacturing activity could be one of the early signals of rising liquidity and investor interest in risk assets.

“The same breakout that started the 2017 and 2021. Altseason is happening again,” Ash Crypto wrote on Wednesday (5/8).

Nevertheless, Ash Crypto stressed that the pattern does not mean altseason has started immediately. According to him, previous cycles took several months before capital rotation truly flowed into the altcoin market.

Will DOGE rise again? Does it follow its parent?

Positive news often leads to sell-offs once it materializes. I’ll keep some DOGE for now and add to my position once the rotation signal becomes clear.

Analysts like Ash Crypto love to scare people with historical cycles. I didn't believe it until I put real money into altcoins.

Manufacturing data is so strong—can it really drive funds into crypto? History repeats itself, but not necessarily in exactly the same way.

PMI at 55.6 is indeed not low, but altcoin season may still have to endure for several months before liquidity is truly unleashed.

They keep bringing up 2017 and 2021. Before every rally, people say the same thing—I’m tired of hearing it.
