A small pullback doesn’t automatically make a stock bearish.

That’s what I’m watching with $AMZN right now.

If buyers defend the important support area, the pullback could turn into another opportunity.

At what point would you personally consider AMZN attractive?

I usually wait for a weekly pullback to find support near a key moving average, accompanied by shrinking trading volume, before I consider it worth pursuing.

The key is the 200-week moving average. If it holds there, I’ll consider entering in batches.

I’ll consider it again if it drops below 150.

From a trading perspective, I won’t trust a support zone until it has been tested at least twice without breaking, preferably with RSI divergence. For a heavyweight stock like AMZN, it’s better to either wait for a confirmed breakout or extreme oversold conditions—the middle ground is painful.

For major tokens like these, I generally don’t dare buy until there’s panic selling—for example, several consecutive days of heavy-volume declines followed by a sudden long lower wick. This pullback still isn’t deep enough to be a “buy with your eyes closed” moment.

If the fundamentals haven’t deteriorated, every decent pullback is an opportunity to get in, but I won’t try to call the bottom. I’ll set a stop-loss; if it breaks below the recent consolidation range, I’ll admit I’m wrong and get out. Otherwise, I’ll treat it as range-bound movement.

Personally, I’ll wait for it to break below the previous low and quickly recover. That kind of false breakout is most likely to shake out holders—that’s when the opportunity comes. There’s no rush right now.

First Review
Hold as long as support holds; if it breaks, then we’ll talk.
