Mainnet Progress: The Pi core team has confirmed that the mainnet will officially launch in the third quarter of 2025, most likely in July. As of June, most key components, such as wallet upgrades, validator framework, and Pi integration, are either online or in the final testing phase.
Ecosystem Development: Pi Network has launched a $100 million venture capital fund to support the development of decentralized applications in areas such as fintech, gaming, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence. Some ecosystem applications, such as the Pi Chain Mall and the Fireside Forum, are now compatible with the mainnet.
KYC Process: The KYC procedure has been significantly improved with the assistance of artificial intelligence, reducing response times and eliminating bottlenecks, allowing more users to unlock Pi to participate in mainnet activities.
Price Trend: The price of Pi coin is currently facing significant bearish pressure, having dropped over 75% from its high of nearly $3 in February, with the current trading price around $0.68, hovering in the range of $0.688 to $0.816.
