Daylight saving time for the U.S. stock market begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. The 2025 U.S. stock daylight saving time starts at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 9. U.S. stocks trade one hour earlier during daylight saving time than during winter time, as follows:
- Pre-market trading hours: from 17:00-22:30 Beijing time to 16:00-21:30.
- Continuous trading hours: from 22:30-5:00 Beijing time to 21:30-4:00.
- After-hours trading hours: from 5:00-9:00 Beijing time to 4:00-8:00.
