🇺🇸 Montana moves closer to Bitcoin reserve
A state bill proposing investments in precious metals and digital assets has passed the committee stage and is now heading to the state House of Representatives.
The bill states that Montana can invest in crypto assets with a market capitalization of at least $750 billion, meaning Bitcoin.
If approved, up to $50 million will be transferred to the state's investment account by July 15, 2025.
