On December 28th, according to Jinshi Data, Holtzmann, a member of the European Central Bank Committee, said that if the inflation risk brought by further depreciation of energy prices or the euro becomes a reality, the European Central Bank may consider waiting longer before the next interest rate cut. The Austrian Central Bank governor said, 'We may need to wait longer before we can cut interest rates again. Indeed, some energy prices are rising again. But there may also be other situations where inflation comes back, such as further depreciation of the euro.' When asked about the possibility of Interest Rate rising, Holtzmann, one of the most hawkish members of the European Central Bank's policy makers, said, 'I currently see no signs of Interest Rate rise.'
