Why 1inch sold the leading altcoin project
The sale, which caught the attention of Twitter users and blockchain enthusiasts, was part of the company's efforts to test new features of the protocol upgrade known as Fusion. 1inch is actively exploring various features for the Fusion update aimed at expanding the functionality of Swap Engine. Introduced in December, the upgrade offers users more cost-effective transactions with additional security measures. Sergej Kunz, co-founder of 1inch, shed some light on the purpose behind the significant ETH sale. He explained that the transaction was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of the Fusion feature, specifically in terms of optimizing transaction fees and reducing slippage in trades.
