ME News, Nov. 8 (UTC+8) — UFC CEO Dana White said he plans to meet with U.S. President Trump on Monday to discuss Trump’s invitation for him to become the next White House press secretary. Trump said in a social media post on Saturday that he had offered White the position, but it remains unclear whether the UFC chief will accept. Asked about the possibility, White said at a UFC press conference, “I already have a lot of work to do.” A person close to the UFC chief revealed that Trump had previously offered White the position as well. Trump’s social media post suggests that he is preparing for potentially fierce political battles over the next two years after Republicans suffered a sweeping defeat in the midterm elections. He said he needs the UFC chief and his team to “help us fight off the crazy left.” (The Wall Street Journal) (Source: ODAILY)
