This short position could be taken profitably. The key wasn’t to chase only after seeing the price drop, but that when the earlier high couldn’t break through, I could already feel the support on the bid side was a bit shaky. The price kept grinding around 0.06816; several needle-like dips couldn’t hold, and the “short” vibe was already there.
The most uncomfortable part was in the middle. The market once nearly faked a breakout and almost threw off my judgment. If you’ve stayed in the crypto space long enough, you know this kind of position is where people are most likely to get impulsive and rush in. Instead, I waited for it to fall back into the key area again, confirmed that the sell pressure hadn’t disappeared, and only then kept holding.
Later, the price kept moving down toward around 0.05454, and the short-side logic was finally validated by the order book. This trade has already earned {$USELESS _MULTIPLE}x of space. Honestly, when I saw the rapid sell-off, I still panicked a bit, but I wasn’t washed out, so the rhythm didn’t get thrown off.
After this leg down, I became even more convinced of the short-side logic. It wasn’t because it fell, so I became bearish—problems like weak high-level support and rebounds that lacked strength had always been there. Sometimes patience is worth more than being quick.
