This short position finally paid off. After $FF showed pressure from a high level, the price went from 0.10466 down to 0.06734, resulting in a +1720.45% gain. The earlier stretch was really torturous—a grinding mill. Every rebound looked like it was about to start a pump, nearly washing out my judgment.

What I was watching wasn’t any single large bearish candle. Instead, it was that the rebounds were getting weaker and the bids couldn’t keep up. After the rally peaked and then rolled over, the signals on the chart were very direct—shorts started to take control of the rhythm—so I didn’t panic and bail just because of a short-term spike.

What’s usually hardest isn’t the drop itself, but the tug-of-war before it. A lot of people only want to chase once price is already falling. I’d rather wait for confirmation—missing a move isn’t embarrassing. Chasing at the hottest point of emotion is how you end up catching a flying knife.

This time I was able to catch this run not because I’m bold, but because I wasn’t thrown off by the fake moves in between. After the downtrend played out, I’m even more convinced by my original short thesis. But next time, I still won’t get carried away—timing matters more than impulse.
