I’ve seen many media reports that “Tingquan Jianbao” has been trading stocks. He once advised his parents to take out their pension to gamble for a chance, but his parents ended up blocking him both. Finally, in yesterday’s live stream, he said he was completely saying goodbye to the stock market, and if he plays again, they’ll cut his hands off.

Although I think this is probably FAKE NEWS, and that Tingquan might just be putting on a show for the livestream.

However, based on the public-opinion environment, it really does look like there are plenty of retail investors who bought at high levels and are now already selling and taking losses to cut their positions. After all, the stock market is different from the crypto market—crypto “grass” has far stronger ability to withstand pressure than A-share “grass.”

So I think the aggressive can start now by systematically investing in quality targets with a clear direction; the more moderate can wait a bit longer for the undervalued zone. As for catching the bottom, it probably won’t be too far off.

As for me, I’m currently shorting stocks in popular sectors, such as Changxin Technology #CXMT 这种,建仓 # and PDD—these kind of obscure “beggar stocks.” I’m also keeping an eye on platforms like Xiaohongshu that may potentially get listed on Hong Kong stocks in the second half of the year; then I’ll see the valuation.
