In the short term, it’s about war; in the long term, it’s about technology. Market capital has already provided the answer.
Every time tensions in the Middle East escalate, it triggers a rise in international oil prices, and this time is no exception. After the ceasefire agreement once again fell apart, global capital quickly moved into a risk-off mode: gold and the energy sector performed strongly, while the US stock market overall showed clear differentiation. What’s truly worth watching, however, is the rapid rebound after the storage sector’s deep intraday selloff. This suggests that market capital is more confident in industry fundamentals than in short-term news.
Storage companies are currently entering an important phase of continuously improving supply-and-demand conditions. As AI training models keep upgrading, demand for HBM, DDR5, and enterprise SSDs continues to grow. Industry inventory has already fallen noticeably, and prices have maintained an upward trend. These fundamental factors give the sector strong downside resilience.
For institutions, oil price increases are more of an event trade, while AI storage is a long-term growth track for the years ahead. Therefore, when stock prices fall quickly due to market sentiment, it actually becomes an important opportunity for capital to reposition and redeploy.
Historical experience also shows that whenever the technology sector experiences sentiment-driven adjustments, as long as the industry trend hasn’t changed, it often sees an even stronger rebound.
If international conditions ease in the future, capital may likely flow back into growth sectors again. And with the storage industry benefiting from three simultaneous tailwinds—improving profitability, demand growth, and the expansion of AI compute—there is still a strong chance it will continue to be an important leading direction for technology stocks. #GateCard消费返现最高8%
