$SOXL I was watching it bouncing around this morning, but now it’s straight down 14 points—like the most expensive dog in the residential area suddenly twisted its ankle. 101.8 is today’s “bottom,” and the trading volume of $28 billion shows that some people are buying the dip while others are jumping off the building. This thing is a 3x leveraged semiconductor—once it starts dropping, it turns on you like it doesn’t recognize your whole family. My own plan: with the current price at 102, I’ll take a small position first to test the waters—if it breaks below 100, I’ll leave decisively. Don’t fall in love with it. Take-profit is set around 110; just enough to get a bit of soup. If you insist on going all-in, my suggestion is to first check whether the semiconductor index is also taking a beating today. I have a hunch this leg is just a shakeout, but how long it lasts depends on the main players’ mood. If you don’t get it, ask in the comments section.
