A retail investor initially entered with $8,000, and after seven years had made a cumulative profit of about $1.97 million.

In the first two years, he traded short-term during the pandemic market and in Meme stocks.
With $8,000 plus a $44,000 home-equity loan, he had a total of $52,000; he first reached $200k, and later the high point was $368,000.
He kept the money to pay taxes, stopped frequent short-term trading, and used almost all the remaining funds to buy Rolls-Royce, the UK aircraft engine manufacturer, ticker RYCEY.
At the time, RYCEY had already fallen from about $10 before the pandemic to around $1.5. He believed the UK government would not allow the company to fail, and even if it took ten years, the stock price could return to $10.
From 2021 to 2025, 99% of his holdings were concentrated in RYCEY, reaching a maximum of more than 130k shares.
In 2024, he began selling in batches between $16.5 and $18.5, and cleared his entire position in 2026.
