Deep Tide TechFlow message: On July 29, according to Cointelegraph, Visa outlined its stablecoin strategy in the Q3 earnings call. The company’s Q3 revenue reached $11.6 billion, up 14% year over year. Payment volume, cross-border transaction volume, and the number of transactions processed all saw double-digit growth, with cross-border transaction volume up 13% year over year.

Visa said it is investing across layers of the stablecoin ecosystem and has joined the OpenStandard consortium to promote the issuance of OpenUSD. Its stablecoin platform will support partners with stablecoin settlement, provide on-chain wallet services, and enable exchanges between fiat and stablecoins. The company also views stablecoins and AI as complementary technologies, saying agency-based commerce will expand its reachable market and drive future growth.
