Breaking News | The CLARITY Act enters a critical window, and tens of trillions of dollars may flow into the crypto market, as bullish expectations continue to heat up

The U.S. “CLARITY Clarity Act,” which has drawn widespread attention from the global crypto industry, is currently in a key legislative phase. The bill aims to establish a federal-level digital asset regulatory framework in the U.S. and end the long-standing confusion over regulatory authority and responsibilities.

The core of the bill is to classify crypto assets into three categories: digital commodities, digital securities, and payment stablecoins. Bitcoin and Ethereum are expected to be legally recognized as digital commodities, eliminating years of ongoing regulatory uncertainty.

Industry institutions generally believe that once the bill is officially implemented, it will clear compliance barriers for major Wall Street asset managers and pension funds to allocate to crypto assets. This could open the gateway for incremental funding of tens of trillions of dollars—and is also the most important policy catalyst for this crypto bull cycle.

According to the legislative schedule, before the August congressional summer recess is the golden window for the bill to be voted on. However, the current standoff between both parties in the Senate is still ongoing. To pass smoothly, it still needs to secure 60 “yes” votes, leaving room for negotiation variables.

On the capital side, the market has already started pricing in policy expectations. The mainstream view is that if the bill is successfully signed, it will accelerate the expansion of spot ETFs and drive continued inflows of traditional financial capital. But at the same time, investors should also be wary of “good news, sell the news” and avoid blindly chasing prices.
