This time, I didn’t chase the drop from the first paragraph to catch a falling knife. Instead, I waited until the price rebounded to around 16.26 before observing. The sell-off before that happened so quickly that missing that move is a little regrettable. But the signs of heavy pressure at the high level never disappeared—I only chose to go long after the rebound lost strength, so that the fear of missing out wouldn’t disrupt my rhythm.
At the very beginning, the market spent quite a lot of time churning sideways, and several pullbacks made people wonder whether the shorts had ended. But if you look closely, you’ll find that every time the price surged, it didn’t form a real breakout; instead, it was quickly pushed back down by selling pressure. Buyers seemed to have some follow-through at first, but in reality they didn’t continue to press on. This kind of fake strength is the easiest to lure people into chasing orders.
When the price fell to 13.53, the +1195.68% move gave an answer to this wait. In the end, missing the beginning doesn’t mean missing the whole market move—being able to control myself and not randomly chase at the highs allowed me to take this downturn’s momentum in full.
