A few days ago, I was still hesitating before going to bed about whether to close the position. I didn’t expect that when I checked again in the morning, the shorts had already written the answer clearly. When I thought this round was completely hopeless, $TAO was still grinding at the high level, but every time it surged, it missed by a breath—those key levels were never truly taken.

I’m putting TAO as the focus of observation. After the price went up, it lacked follow-through, while the sell orders kept pressing down layer by layer. Once it returned to around 258.4, I executed a long. The logic is simple: if the rebound isn’t strong, I won’t be the one to take the last baton for the longs.

The current price is 192.4. The short position’s unrealized profit shows +1231.9%. This drop hasn’t been in vain—this is realization delivered through patience.

Take profits when you should. Close 80% first, and keep the remaining 20% near your cost as protection. If it keeps dumping lower, let the profits run. If it bounces back, don’t let the gains turn into an emotional roller coaster.

Markets are something you wait out; profits are something you hold onto. This isn’t the time to rush. Don’t stubbornly chase missed entries—wait for the next move to appear, then reassess.
