This stretch of market action looks pretty strong—waves of a pump come one after another, and a lot of people probably had the urge to chase orders. But at the time, I felt something was off. After the price reached around 76861.4, whenever it tried to push upward, it always lacked sustained buy support. It looked lively on the surface, but in reality, every time it surged higher, someone would sell into the rally. This kind of strength didn’t convince me.
After opening the short, the hardest part was that the market didn’t drop immediately. Instead, it shot in a quick spike—my mindset almost got thrown off. If you’ve been in crypto long enough, you know the real danger isn’t just one needle, but the inability to carry on at high levels for a long time. Later, when the price fell back to around 63900.7, the shorts finally regained the rhythm.
This trade was ultimately recorded as +2931.7%. I didn’t change my judgment and chase after the brief rebound, and I didn’t exit at the most panicked moment. It seemed strong, yet nobody was continuously taking it. Once this kind of order flow loosens, the sell-off often turns out to be more direct than you’d imagine. Counterintuitive as it is, it actually makes it easier to hold on.
