Just finished lunch and checked the chart—the red on the screen was even more eye-catching than the food. In the early session, when the sell-off just smashed the market, $TRUMP was pushed down from the highs. Many people were still waiting for a rebound, but what I saw was that the buy support was getting thinner and thinner; each pullback had less strength than the last, and sell orders clearly had the upper hand.

At that time, TRUMP kept tugging around 2.056. I judged that the overhead pressure hadn’t truly eased, and the volume wasn’t cooperating, so I followed the short-side rhythm to complete going long. It wasn’t that I chased after it dropped; it was that I’d already been waiting for it to show signs of fatigue.

The price is now at 1.477, and the unrealized position return is up 1998.21%. This wait hasn’t been in vain. I pocketed the bulk of the take-profit first—closing 80%—and kept the remaining 20% for follow-through. I moved the protection level back near my cost basis; if it keeps getting pushed down, I’ll hold. And if there’s a sudden rebound, I won’t let the profit feel uncomfortable.

The market is something you wait for, and profit is something you hold. This isn’t the time to rush—if you miss it, you miss it. Don’t force entries just to grab back the rhythm; wait for the next signal, then act.
