I added another partial SOXX position exactly where I planned.

Price has reached an important support area near 476–495, while RSI has fallen to around 35 and is approaching oversold territory.

That does not guarantee an immediate rebound.

But compared with buying during the previous semiconductor euphoria, the current risk-reward is becoming much more attractive.

My plan is not to go all in at one price.

I am building the position gradually:

• Added a partial position near the current support
• If SOXX falls toward 365, I will consider adding again
• If the market reaches around 265, I will reserve capital for another larger purchase

These lower levels may never be reached.

But preparing in advance prevents me from reacting emotionally if the sell-off becomes more severe.

I am not panicking because the price is falling.

Price reflects current market sentiment.

Value depends on the long-term earnings power of the businesses inside the ETF.

SOXX gives me diversified exposure to the semiconductor industry rather than forcing me to depend on one company. That includes businesses across chip design, manufacturing, memory and equipment.

The sector may remain volatile, especially after such an extended rally.

But AI, data centers, cloud computing and advanced electronics will still require semiconductors.

My thesis is not that SOXX must rebound tomorrow.

My thesis is that high-quality semiconductor assets become more attractive when fear lowers the price.

That is why position sizing matters.

I can buy gradually, remain patient and still have capital available if I am wrong about the first support.

I do not fear lower prices.

I fear buying too much before the market gives me better value.
