I originally wanted to cut my losses to appease the heavens, but I didn’t even get to the “sacrifice to heaven” — the short position itself first pulled the situation back. 📉

After opening the market in the morning, I went back to review $ALT ’s overnight rhythm. I found it was being pushed up very lively, but the trading volume didn’t keep up—when it rose, no one came in to take it, and as soon as the price got close to the key levels, it turned soft. That’s when I reminded myself: don’t treat a weak/low-liquidity push as a real breakout— the “baiting longs” feel was already very strong. Then I executed the short around 0.008374; the current price fell to 0.005822. The floating profit shows +747.3%—no wasted this night.

The position move was simple: first close 80%, and put whatever you can get into your pocket. Keep the remaining 20% as cost-price protection—if it keeps falling, just follow along and hold; once there’s a pullback, close your position in time.

Pros die from trying to catch the bottom, while retail traders perish from chasing orders. Being able to finish according to plan is the real skill. For friends who haven’t boarded yet, take this one sentence first: don’t chase the decline to add tickets—you’ll have more chances later.
