Just finished lunch and watching the chart—the red on the screen is even more eye-catching than the food. When the intraday plunge happened, $MYX first pretended to stabilize, then several failed bounces couldn’t reclaim the level. Overhead resistance remained clearly strong; with relatively low volume, even attempts to push upward didn’t have enough follow-through. This kind of rally looks lively, but in reality it’s more like positioning for the shorts.
Before the chart fully woke up, I kept an eye on MYX. When the price approached 0.1796, I executed a long. It wasn’t a temporary decision after seeing the drop—it was about judging the rebound quality first. Now the price is at 0.0663, and the replayed profit is +1241.03%. This time the short took-profit was very decisive.
If you should take profit, take it—first close 80%, and keep the remaining 20% to retain some flexibility, with the protection level moved up to around the entry cost. If it keeps selling off further, let the profits run; and if there’s a rebound, don’t let the gains turn back into a key level.
Risk control done in advance is called rationality. Cutting after you’re already down is called a “brave severance of the arm.” Chasing also makes it easy to get trapped by a rebound. If you haven’t entered yet, don’t rush—wait for confirmation before taking the next move, and just wait for good news.
