Ondo did something wildly against conventional thinking: they originally planned to build an OndoChain, but found that the real bottleneck in trading wasn’t settlement—it was matching.

So they changed their approach directly.
The new Ondo Network puts matching, margin, and settlement into a hardware-isolated environment, first pursuing CEX-level speed and privacy; then asset transfers go back to the public chain for settlement, leaving behind verifiable execution records. The first product running on top of it is Ondo Perps, and it’s already live.
@OndoFinance is no longer fixated on “everything must be on-chain instantly,” but instead separates execution, verification, and settlement into different parts.
At present, the core computation still centers on a single high-performance enclave; verification nodes are what enable multi-party operation, with further gradual opening up afterward.
I actually think this is more practical than recreating an L1 nobody uses.
The market has never wanted more chains for the sake of it—it wants assets to move fast, be tradable, and not have you hand your money over to a platform for custody.
#Ourbit not only does Crypto—it’s one-stop trading for globally popular assets.
