The price had been climbing sharply one after another up front, and the atmosphere looked very heated, but I didn’t go in to catch that last spike. When it surged and then reversed near 0.0001670, what I cared about more was that the buy-side began to thin out, giving the shorts a chance to slowly take the upper hand, rather than rushing to prove my call right.
After I went short, the market spent a long time grinding. Several rebounds made my heart tighten; I even felt the urge to chase the order and the impulse to get out early. To be honest, if you’ve been in the crypto market long enough, you know that many profits aren’t won by charging hard—they’re protected by holding steady without making random moves.
Later, the price continuously broke through key levels, and the selling pressure seemed to open up layer by layer. The short position’s rhythm finally worked out. When the price returned to around 0.00007, the result was +1143.66%. This time I didn’t miss it, and I didn’t concede early just because of short-term volatility.
After this drop, my judgment that the market was under pressure at high levels became even more firm. I’m bearish not because I’m afraid of the price going up, but because the order book has told me multiple times already: strength is only the appearance—real support has been weakening well in advance.
