Deep Tide TechFlow message. On July 28, according to TechCrunch, AI voice model company Fish Audio announced the completion of a $50 million seed round, led by Coreline Ventures and Capital Today, with participation from 359 Capital, Parable, Play Time, and others. The company said that its open-source and hosted models have accumulated more than 8 million users, and annual recurring revenue reached $21 million.

Over the past year, Fish Audio launched 5 models, including 4 voice generation models and 1 speech-to-text model. Of these, 3 have been open-sourced, while its latest S2.1 Pro model is provided through paid application programming interfaces. The company’s products target creators, developers, and enterprise customers, with use cases including AI virtual avatars, game character voiceovers, and voice agents.

Regarding unauthorized uploaded audio that had appeared on the platform, Fish Audio said it has automated the takedown process; after rights holders submit voice samples or related contracts, processing can be completed within 3 minutes. The company plans to launch an audio understanding model and a speech-to-speech model in the future.
