Honestly, what tests you most this time isn’t opening the short—it’s whether you can hold up through that stretch of repeated action afterward. A spike-and-retrace appeared around 0.46953. I think the sell pressure overhead isn’t light, so I didn’t get fooled into going long by the superficial strength, and my short position didn’t get messed up just because of a brief rebound.
At first, the market moved very slowly. A few wick spikes made people uncomfortable—those watching the chart nearby may have panicked already. During that time, I also had the thought of getting out, but every rebound failed to continue; the support always looked thin.
Later, after the price broke down through the grinding mill zone, the rhythm suddenly picked up. The price kept pressing down to around 0.02708, and in the end it corresponded to +2310.75%. The patience from earlier was proven here—real profits are often hidden when others lose patience.
Shorting isn’t about rushing just because it’s high, and it’s not about jumping in just because you see a red candle. If you can clearly see the weakness at the top, then wait for the dump to confirm, this kind of pace may be slower, but it’s much more comfortable than chasing pumps and killing on spikes.
