Just after I finished watching the bearish news, the chart was still acting composed, and in the blink of an eye it started leaking downward. This time, $TRUMP didn’t keep performing—after the sell walls stacked overhead finally showed their true colors.

During the choppy back-and-forth in the session, I noticed the price never managed to hold the upper range. Each time there were attempts to pump, they lacked follow-through, and the rebound strength kept weakening from one round to the next. Seeing this kind of weak support, with nobody stepping in to buy, I told myself not to rush into going long. After the failed push higher, I completed the long around 2.056.

Now 1.471 has already delivered results—the short position’s ROI is +2018.91%, and the timing is spot on. First, close 80% to lock in the main gains, and keep the remaining 20% for further observation. I’ve moved the protective level to around the cost basis. If it keeps dipping further, the profit can extend; if there’s a sudden rebound, it won’t force me to give back the edge.

Risk control done early is called being rational. Cutting losses only after they happen is called a soldier chopping his wrist.

Don’t get greedy for the last mouthful—what you can truly take with you is what really belongs to you.

Chasing positions often gets trapped up at the summit. If you didn’t catch it, don’t force yourself to squeeze in—wait for the new structure to form, and I’ll prompt the next wave signal as soon as it appears.
