This oil trade has me even more on edge than a lot of altcoins.

To be honest, I really hesitated on this one in the middle.

Oil, after all, isn’t like crypto. It doesn’t move nearly as violently. A lot of the time it’s just grinding little by little. A couple of days ago the price kept whipping back and forth with volatility, and in my head there was this voice: “Why not close first? Only what’s in hand is real.”

I even opened the position-closing page.

Then I pulled up the 4-hour K-line again and went through it. It fell from 86.28 all the way to around 81. The rebound got weaker each time, and the overall rhythm is still bearish. I stared at the screen for a while, and in the end I silently closed the page.

Now my account does have some profit, but saying I have no pressure would be a lie. The bigger the profit, the more people tend to get scared of giving it back—that’s also the mistake I used to make most easily. Later I gradually realized that many trades that were supposed to make big money ended up being shut down early by me, not by the market.

So now I won’t change my plan just because the numbers in my account look good, and I won’t force myself to hold just to squeeze out a bit more.

As for what comes after this trade, I’ll leave the returns to the market. The only two things I can control are: letting the right position keep creating value, and not leaving early before the trend ends.

If the order book brings new changes, I’ll handle them according to plan—not let emotions make the decision for me.
