This setup isn’t about guessing the bottom or the top. It’s because I saw $ETH repeatedly push at high levels without any real follow-through; each time it was pulled up, it quickly spiked and then fell back. I confirmed my short idea around 2111.63. After the price reached 1893.76, the +1794.43% move delivered clear feedback—this drop wasn’t a waste of waiting.
Before that, it was actually pretty tormenting. The short direction looked right, but the chart kept pricking me again and again. The hardest part was that every rebound felt like it was trying to shake people out. I had doubts at the time, too. But the high didn’t keep making higher highs—instead, each attempt was weaker than the last. That’s why I didn’t easily change my mind.
Once it finally broke down, the rhythm suddenly became smooth. Longtime crypto veterans all know this: in a weak market, the worst thing is to act impulsively and chase around; in the end, what you usually catch is a thrown knife. This time I was able to hold on—not because of good luck, but because I wasn’t misled by short-term noise.
