Just after I finished watching the bearish move, many people were still waiting for a rebound, but I could already smell the short side. When the price kept whipping around during the session, $ICP looked quite lively; in reality, every time it was pulled back from the high level, it quickly softened again—there was no continuous bid support at all.
I observed on ICP that the overhead pressure wasn’t effectively absorbed. The price repeatedly tested around 2.528, but volume kept getting thinner and thinner. So what I hinted then wasn’t chasing the breakout, but instead waiting for the rebound to finish before going long. This wasn’t a random guess based on vibes—I saw the details: when it spiked, nobody stepped in to buy.
Now 2.114 has already made the direction clear. The short position has been closed for a gain of +788.66%, and the timing is spot on. Take 80% off the table first; keep the remaining 20% for cost protection. If it continues to weaken, let it run on its own. If it suddenly rebounds, don’t let the profit turn back into a key level.
Risk control comes first—that’s called rationality. Cutting losses after you’re already wrong is called “cutting off an arm with a steady heart.” Take profits early, and your mindset stays stable.
This isn’t the time to rush in. If you miss this round, just wait for the next shot—once the new structure forms, we’ll look again.
