Honestly, the most dangerous part this time wasn’t making the wrong call—it was that I almost couldn’t hold on. When the price first started coming under pressure around 0.2144, I’d already begun looking for a short opportunity. But then a continuous grind, a push up, and a drop alternated one after another, and my mindset really got tossed around.
In the middle, a sudden spike of a wick pushed upward. The chart looked like it was about to reverse, and the short position I was holding made me a bit panicky for a moment. In the past, I would’ve easily been shaken out in situations like this, then after getting out, the market would drop again. But this time, I went back through the logic and found that even at the high level, there still wasn’t any real support/acceptance.
Later, when the price pushed up to around 0.1978, the sell-off pressure clearly accelerated, and the earlier sideways range finally broke down. The takeaway from this trade is +372.86%. Of course, it feels great to make money, but even more than that, I’m glad this time I didn’t let short-term noise change my judgment.
The most torturous time in crypto trading is often not when you’re wrong on direction, but when you’re right—yet you don’t have the nerve to hold your position. This move today made me understand that “waiting” isn’t just staring blankly; it means that at key levels, you’re not being led around by fake actions. Once you keep the rhythm steady, opportunities will naturally show up.
