7.28 Night Linmu Huang Analysis

In the afternoon, gold continued in an extremely weak pattern, with a one-way drop of over $20 establishing a short-side advantage. Although there is currently a small pullback, it is a typical “sharp selloff, slow recovery” corrective structure; the rebound has not even recovered half of the selloff range. The MA5 and MA10 moving average systems remain in a bearish alignment, tightly suppressing price. There is heavy sell pressure around 4037-4047 above; the main players are using narrow-range consolidation to “lure longs and wash out positions.” After the bounce lacks strength, it will continue downward to break support.
Huang: Bounce to the 4037-4047 area to set a short, target around 4010-3995. #USD1持币生息最高8% $XAUT

Bro, your analysis is solid. After a one-sided drop of $20, the rebound lacked strength. The MA5/MA10 are pressing the price down as it moves. There’s nothing wrong with continuing to hold the short position.

This gold price action is like a washout—once retail investors chase it, they end up bag holding. The main players really know how to play. Around 4047 is indeed a good entry point for a short position.

The rebound idea is fine, but pay attention to position sizing. Now volatility is high—tighten your stop-loss a bit, or you could get blown out by a counter-push.

This sudden sell-off is brutal. The rebound can’t even claw back half. The bearish setup hasn’t changed—so it’s right to follow the smart money’s playbook and stay short from higher levels.

The sharp drop followed by a slow rise is a typical bull trap to lure buyers, but your 4037-4047 range is too narrow. I actually think it may be better to wait a bit longer to confirm the signal.
