A few days ago, in the afternoon, I was still hesitating about whether to close the position. I didn’t expect that right after I finished reading the bearish news, $SLX would start showing signs of fatigue. During that period, the price didn’t look like it was breaking down in a clear way. In reality, the overhead suppression had been there all along. Bids kept trying again and again, but couldn’t keep up. Each bounce was shorter than the last. What I saw wasn’t strong buildup—it was the gradual thinning of the support/holding.
While everyone else was still watching, I waited until SLX couldn’t break up near 0.21150, and then I executed a go-long. Now the market has already moved to 0.0921, with a return rate of +1111.66%. The earlier waiting wasn’t wasted—this time the rhythm really was on point.
Don’t grind away your patience in the chop.
First, lock in the floating profit: +1111.66%. I’m not in a rush to close all the remaining 20% immediately. I’ll move the protection level up to around the cost basis, leaving a bit of room for the trend. If it keeps weakening, let it run on its own. If it pulls back to around the cost basis, I still won’t let profits get given back. The futures market is most afraid of losing the plan right at the finish line—chasing a drop is also just as likely to get counter-killed. For friends who haven’t entered yet, don’t rush in— the market is full of opportunities; what it lacks is patience.
