Yesterday Changxin Technology listed and its first-day performance far exceeded expectations. I therefore judged that the overseas storage sector would face heavy short-term pressure, so I didn’t try to bottom-fish for SanDisk. Instead, I brought my brothers from the main camp and set up a $SNDK short position in advance.

As it turned out, today’s price action basically matched my prediction: SanDisk kept falling all the way down. I was able to close the trade smoothly, and the return was close to 10x.

From the order book, on the one-hour timeframe the moving averages have already formed a bearish alignment. Price has been consistently suppressed by MA5 and MA10, and the rebound momentum has also been steadily weakening. This suggests that capital is still inclined to realize gains, and the short-term trend has not been reversed for now.

Trading isn’t about chasing shorts just because it’s falling, or chasing longs just because it’s rising. It’s about making plans in advance and waiting for the market to validate them.
