This short could be taken down—the key isn’t chasing only after you see the sell-off, but that when price was under pressure at the high level, it didn’t get scared off by a fake pull-up.

While $WLD repeatedly chopped around 0.4076, I felt the overhead selling pressure wasn’t light. I slowed the pace first and waited for it to show a flaw by itself.

There were indeed a few wicks in the middle; the price kept swinging back and forth, making people itch to trade. Many likely got shaken out. But every time it tried to push higher, it failed to establish a solid hold—instead, it kept sliding back. That detail made me keep holding the short, without panicking just because of one or two rebounds.

Later, the market moved from 0.4076 all the way to 0.321, and the short-side thesis was finally confirmed by the tape. The position result shows +1507.54%. This wasn’t a gamble-hardhold situation powered by luck; it was that judgment, waiting, and execution happened to line up perfectly.

If you’ve been in crypto long enough, you know the hardest part isn’t placing the trade—it’s, after you’re right, not getting pushed off the train by the noise. After this drop, my judgment about high-level pressure has become even more solid. Going forward, when facing similar chop-range “grinding” conditions, you still need to let the chart first give you the answer.
