$ETH ETH is currently in a low-range consolidation phase, and both long and short sides are relatively cautious in the short term. After the earlier pullback, the price has not seen any clear breakdown, indicating that there is still buy-side support below, and the market is waiting for a new direction to emerge.

However, this Thursday there will be Fed interest rate-related news. The market has differing views on whether rates will be hiked, and changes in interest rate expectations could trigger a round of sharp short-term volatility. If the final release signals a hawkish stance, risk assets may come under pressure, and ETH could see a pullback; if the news is absorbed as a negative and priced in, the market may instead rally.

The current trend looks more like bottom-range consolidation and shakeout. It’s not recommended to chase or cut aggressively; focus on whether the lower support can hold. If the price continues to trade sideways at low levels and breaks out upward with volume, there is still room for further upside rebound above.

Short-term outlook:

For low-range consolidation, first look for a rebound. On pullbacks toward support, you can consider long opportunities; but before the news, don’t blindly take heavy positions. After Thursday’s rate result lands, the direction will be clearer.
