The short position at 50 was held straight from the morning all the way until the US stock market opened in the evening. The US stock market opened higher and lifted the broader market; bullish sentiment exploded. With those favorable conditions, it still couldn’t stabilize above the 1980 level.
This shows that there is heavy sell pressure overhead, and the bulls’ momentum has run out.
