Gate U card supports a no-threshold application, with up to 8% cashback on spending

Recently, U cards are affected by various regulations, and the number of those that can still be used normally is dwindling. Gate understands everyone’s needs: it upgraded the Gate Card and lowered the application threshold to the minimum. As long as you have a Gate account, you can apply—no address proof or other cumbersome requirements.

For someone like me who doesn’t have a U card, this is the biggest piece of good news. Previously, when I applied for a U card, I kept getting blocked in various ways, but in Gate I managed to get it done in an easy 2 minutes. Honestly, that feeling is so great. In the future, everyday spending will be much more convenient, and it will reduce worries about withdrawals.

Application process
1、Update the Gate app to version 8.29 or above
2、On the top of the home page, click Exchange, choose Pay, then you need to top up 10U first—this is required to open the card, and this fee will be refunded
3、After completing the top-up, click into Gate Card to apply. You will need to fill in some personal information
