This shorting move, what truly made me act wasn’t a single big bearish candle, but the repeated inability to push higher after price was in a high position. The price kept grinding around 0.46953 for a long time; several times when I tried to pull it up, selling pressure pushed it back down. At that moment, I felt the buy-side support overhead was getting increasingly weak—chasing longs would only make it easy to catch a falling knife.

At first, the market didn’t dump immediately. Instead, it kept flickering up and down with needle-like moves. That zone was really grinding. Honestly, even holding a short would make you nervous. Later, the rebound failed again, and the bears started to apply pressure continuously. The price then went all the way to 0.02711—those earlier fake breakouts were finally confirmed.

For this trade, the result is recorded at +2310.75%, with more room than I expected. The hardest part wasn’t waiting, but during the wait I almost got washed out. Luckily, I didn’t lose my rhythm just because of one or two counter-pull bounces.

If you’ve stayed in crypto long enough, you know: what looks lively at the highs doesn’t necessarily mean there’s real support. It’s not because it fell that I turned bearish, but because the issues that existed before were still there. This time, the market simply put the answer in front of us.
