This time I didn’t chase right at the moment when the drop was the sharpest. Instead, I waited until the price first managed to build up bullish sentiment. Around 76861.4, it made several consecutive upward pushes; it looked strong, but each time it lacked sustained follow-through. That’s exactly what I was watching, so I wasn’t thrown off by the surface-level pump.

The sell-off after the spike in the middle was especially clear. At first, there were people chasing longs, but not long after, selling pressure came down on it. To be honest, when I saw the price bounce briefly, I also had doubts—worried that the short-seller rhythm would be disrupted. But afterward, it didn’t keep making new highs; instead, it gradually started to weaken.

From 76861.4 to 63432.9, this short position ultimately corresponded to a +3038.38% move. Of course, I was happy after the result came out, but what I’m even more grateful for is that I didn’t try to抢位置 and catch falling knives, and I also didn’t constantly flip directions during the chop—I just waited patiently for the market itself to give the answer.

In the past, I often followed the price out of fear of missing out, and in the end I either got wickedly shaken out or I had to hold through something that felt unbearable. Now I’d rather wait until the high-price area’s resistance is confirmed. Missing that first move isn’t scary—the real trouble starts when emotions get ahead of you and you still insist on hard-chasing.
