This round simply gave the shorts a handy opportunity from the market. It looked grinding at first, but when it finally dropped, it was quite decisive. A few days ago in the afternoon, $ALT repeatedly probed near the top, and every time the price tried to rise, it was pushed back down.

While everyone else was still watching, I focused on ALT’s performance and found that the buy-side support was becoming less and less firm. The rebound had no volume, and even the key levels couldn’t hold. My take was simple: this wasn’t a breakout, but a pullback window caused by insufficient follow-through—so I opened a long position in rhythm.

The reference price for the short was 0.008374. Now the market price is 0.005706, and the return is showing +781.27%. No wasted waiting—patience until the direction is realized is the best recap.

Handle part of the profit first: close +781.27%, then hold the remaining 73%. Move the protection level up to around the cost basis. If it still sells off further, let it run on its own. If it bounces back, at least I won’t give back the results already taken.

Even if you only make one percent—if you can take it with you, then it’s yours. Unrealized gains, no matter how big, aren’t truly yours until you take them out. Chasing the drop is easy to get swept by a rebound. There will be more opportunities ahead—wait for the next wave of signal before moving again.
