This short position could be taken all the way to profit—the key isn’t chasing only after seeing a drop, but that several times at the top when price tried to spike higher, it never truly held.

When the price kept grinding around 0.08432, I felt the sell pressure above wasn’t light. It was just that the market was too quiet at the time, and many people were still waiting for a pump.

What really made me dare to keep holding, though, was the later fake breakout. It shot up but lacked follow-through; then a pullback directly disrupted the longs’ rhythm. After the wick, it still took a long time to reclaim, and anyone who’s been in this market long enough knows this kind of movement—chasing longs is easy to catch a flying knife.

From 0.08432 to 0.07986, the result of this short position has already been recorded with a +378.67% gain. There were moments of panic in between, especially during that short-term rebound; my hands almost sold early, but thankfully I wasn’t shaken out.

Looking back now, the bearish logic didn’t become valid only after the price started falling. It was that the higher-level support and acceptance at the top never really showed up. The hardest part of trading isn’t seeing the direction—it’s whether you can still stick to your judgment while the market grinds you down.
