Did nothing at all—just went to the restroom. When I came back, the K-line had already picked the direction for me. When the intraday drop happened, the key upper level of $ICP kept getting breached, and that earlier sense of strength was gone.

After reviewing the downside catalyst, I rechecked ICP’s support/absorption and found the rebound is getting weaker and weaker. Price pushes upward, but the buy orders don’t follow through—when it goes up, nobody is there to take it. The “liquidity-grab” feel is very strong. So at that time, I didn’t chase the pump; I waited and only opened the long after confirmation.

The short was opened around 2.528. Now it’s at 2.103. Floating profit is realized to +809.61%. This bite of profit tastes great—the longer you grind beforehand, the better it feels when you close.

Take 80% off the table first, and move the remaining 20%’s protection level to around the cost basis. Don’t get greedy for the last bite. If it continues dipping, let the profit extend naturally. If there’s a sudden rebound, you still need to contain the risk first.

Panic happens because there was no plan. Loss happens because you overthink too much. This isn’t the time to rush. Missing this leg doesn’t mean you have to force a chase—wait for the new structure to form, then look again. Leave the next shot for a clearer spot.
