This short trade against the market gave me a very direct feeling: getting the call right doesn’t mean the process is easy. Those few times at the high level that kept being pulled up and down again and again made the order book feel noisy and chaotic. I even briefly wondered whether they were going to re-raise the entire market. Holding my short positions didn’t feel comfortable.

What truly changed my mind later was that the rebound kept getting weaker and weaker. When the price moved from 0.05794 to 0.04014, the sell pressure clearly overwhelmed the bids. In the end, it came to a gain of +605.92%. The market didn’t need any news to create the move—it exposed its own problems.

In the middle, there was a grinding phase that was especially draining on patience. Many people probably got shaken out here. Honestly, I almost got off the train too, but I didn’t chase buying high or selling low just because of short-term volatility. Only after the selloff genuinely continued did my mindset gradually stabilize.

After this drop, I became even more convinced about the bearish direction. It’s not that I started to think bearish only after seeing the price fall. It’s that the fine details of those earlier high-level rejections had been there all along. The hardest part of trading is, before the answer appears, staying clear-headed.
