This trade is the type where you get the direction right, but almost don’t manage to hold onto it. After I initially shorted, the market didn’t cooperate right away; instead, it was pulled back several times in succession. The fluctuations on the screen make it very easy to panic—I also had the thought of getting out early.

But what I focused on the whole time didn’t change: every rebound got shoved back down by sell pressure. They wanted to push the price up, but there wasn’t sustained support. The price fell from 0.04289 to 0.02823, and the final result landed at +672.55%—only then did I give the shorts a clear signal.

The most uncomfortable part was that stretch of fake rebounds. On the surface it looked like a reversal was coming, but in reality it was just washing out people who lacked patience. If you chase and add at that moment, you’ll end up getting carried along by the market, and it’s very easy to throw off your trading rhythm.

After this drop, I became even more certain about my original judgment. Not because the outcome looks good, but because the problems at the high end still hadn’t been resolved. The market is only amplifying them again through the selloff.
