Honestly, the grind right before this was really brutal. The price kept swinging back and forth at the high end, and a lot of people may have already started to doubt their judgment. I didn’t rush to exit then; mainly because I could see that every rebound lacked follow-through, and the rally-then-fade became more and more obvious.
After the short position moved from 5.542 to 4.719, the market finally began to accelerate as expected. In the end, the result of this trade came to +716.02%. This number is just the outcome—the real thing that made me feel at ease was that the chart didn’t overturn the original short thesis.
Along the way, there were a few fake breakouts that nearly threw my mindset off. When I felt like my hands were itching, I really did want to keep hitting the order book and sell the dip. But if you’ve stayed in the crypto market long enough, you know that the moments most likely to cause trouble are exactly like this— the more you see it dropping, the less you can let emotions drive you.
What I’m most satisfied with this time isn’t how much I took, but that I didn’t exit early in the grind. The selling pressure at the highs didn’t disappear; instead, it was amplified by what came next. Sometimes patience matters even more than judgment itself.
