Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 28, VentureBurn reported that Enigma, a physical AI robotics company, announced it has completed a $71 million seed round, co-led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Conviction Partners and well-known individuals from AI organizations including OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, xAI, and Cognition. This round was raised just 11 months after the company’s founding, making it one of the largest seed rounds in the physical AI space. The funds will be used to expand its research and engineering teams, improve compute infrastructure, and drive deployment of AI-powered technology in more real-world scenarios. Enigma has already deployed more than 100 proprietary robotic system setups in California and Israel, aiming to lower the barrier to operating robots through natural language interactions. Its hardware-agnostic platform can integrate with various types of robotic devices, covering multiple industries including healthcare, retail, entertainment, and logistics.
