7.28 Tuesday morning Bitcoin and Ethereum market analysis and trading suggestions
Looking back at yesterday’s price action: after multiple tests failed to break the 65,700 resistance level, it continued to weaken. In the early morning, momentum concentrated and released directly, breaking the short-term support structure. This triggered a quick, high-volume selloff and probe downward. The chart continuously printed consecutive large bearish candles. BTC’s low dipped to 63,021, while ETH’s low simultaneously touched 1,865. Overall, the market has returned to a weak consolidation/adjustment phase.
Yesterday’s full-day plan was firm: I was bullish and stayed with it without frequently changing direction. During the day, I captured a total of 1,921 points on BTC and 69 points on ETH. I followed the trend, found the key levels, and steadily secured profits.
After the sharp drop, the current market has entered a short-term bearish momentum dominant structure. This small upward consolidation structure has been broken. At the larger level, the market is temporarily in a pullback and repair phase. Daily timeframe: it formed a bearish candle with a solid body that engulfs the previous bullish candle, and it has already fallen below the middle rail (middle band). There is a short-term need for a pullback, but the larger cycle is still within a range-bound consolidation pullback; it has not directly started a one-way major selloff. 4-hour timeframe: the K-line has been closing bearish consecutively, showing a stair-step downward pattern, and it has printed multiple long upper wicks, with heavy sell pressure overhead.
Hourly timeframe: the key resistance at 65,700 repeatedly failed to break effectively. A three-peak top formation is taking shape in that area. Bearish candles are dense, and rebound strength is weak. Yesterday afternoon’s strategy also clearly indicated to watch the gain/loss around the 64,600 key level. After an effective breakdown, you can follow the bearish momentum. The target lower end is the strong support zone near the prior low point around 62,500. For ETH, also pay attention to how well the strong support at 1,840 holds for absorption. In terms of execution: short-term trades should focus mainly on rebounds facing rejection at bearish momentum high points, keep good defenses, and control position sizing.
BTC: bearish momentum around 63,500; targets 62,500 → 61,800
ETH: bearish momentum around 1,895; targets 1,840 → 1,802
