SK Hynix ADR falls below its issue price and hits a new low since listing

Mars Finance news: On July 28, according to market data from BIT (bit.com), SK hynix’s American depositary receipts (ADR) once plunged 10% intraday to $139.01, far below the $149 issue price. It ultimately closed at $143.02, the lowest level since listing. Along with individual stocks such as SpaceX, SK hynix became one of the first companies among this year’s largest-scale IPOs in US stocks to trade below the offering price. SK hynix’s ADR previously listed on the US market earlier this month with a fundraising size of $26.5 billion, but as investors continued to retreat from high-valuation semiconductor stocks, its share price fell sharply. The semiconductor sector faced overall pressure; the widely watched semiconductor index continued its recent downtrend and closed at the lowest level since May 19.
